The app will allow users to put their RSS feed into it and it will update Facebook and Twitter automatically with the user's latest posts or updates. I do not have any colours in mind, I leave the creative element to you. I think transparent background would be best at this time. We want a professional looking icon that will be easy to remember and looks good, nothing complicated.
