$30 Header Contest

I am looking for a header for a new website.

It is for an Australian Parenting Forum : http://tinyurl.com/3zchjv

The skin for the forum is from : http://tinyurl.com/4tn2vb

The header has to blend in with the skin.

Header must fit within the top space as shown in the skin.

Header must be unique and have no copyrighted images.

Please post all submissions into this thread.

Will give an extra $10 if you are also able to provide replacement icons for the topic old and topic new images supplied with the skin (want these to be fairly small)

I have just installed the skin, and it is there by default. That whole area is up for grabs.

 

and the logo? you want that to stay?

what text do you need on it?

 

JMP Designs - No nothing has to stay. I do like the background they have for the header, but you don't have to use it.

Text to be "Parenting Forum" if you want to add your own image into the header, that's fine.

dimitri123 - Not quite what I am after, sorry. I don't like that "FORUM" is smaller and not keen on the colors.

FreshContent - Maybe a little bit too simple. I do like the colors especially the purple. With the icons, I probably would prefer not to use the word "OLD" and "NEW". The old icon should be a very faint image of the new icon. Also would like them to be smaller so they are not so obvious, they just blend in.

dulcenegosyante - Don't really like the image, I think it is too dominating. Would like to see the purple in the header.

Black Sylver - Not what I am looking for, sorry. I don't think it suits the market I am aiming at.

So far I like the style of FreshContent, simple, clean but it's just missing that something extra.

Pklz - Is it possible to copy the header you have created onto the template, so I can see it all together.
dulcenegosyante - I know I said I wanted you to add some purple, but I don't want the whole header to be purple.
Carbunash - Sorry, not what I am after.

I Would like the header to contain colours from the site : Purple, Blue, Yellow/Orange - Not necessarily all three colours. FreshContent is on the write track, picked colours from the site, I just think it might be missing something. Hope that has helped you all.
