$30 Header Contest - Revolutionary War

I am looking for a cool header for my new site - http://revolutionarywarantiques.com/

Header should be 968 x 180 and have no copyrighted images.

The site is on the U.S. Revolutionary War, so should have a patriotic / historic feel, probably with some red white and blue.

Seen some great stuff on here, so I'll plan to make a decision in a couple of days. Please post any questions here. Thanks!

Very impressive entries thus far. Feedback if you are interested.

Really liking the bold simplicity in dulce's design. The flag/battle scene looks in Carbunash and cottonStella's designs are quite similar to what I had in my head, but both might be helped by a bolder and more classic font. Freshcontent- great overall look also but I'd go with one consistent font instead of two. Wayne- design has a classic feel but I'd suggest a different primary font (though I do like the URL font) and maybe a more period-authentic flag (Google 'Betsy Ross Flag' if interested).

Again, loved the designs. Looking like a tough decision.
