@ Contest Holder - I would watch out for any entries who's "Twitter"s look the exact same as the real twitter name. You could run into major copyright issues. Although I'm not sure what twitter's terms actually are. Anyone care to look it up?

The font that Twitter uses is a font that a lot of designers use. Just because they bolded it and put a shadow behind it doesn't make it theirs. As for the birds, they are not Twitter's birds, just mock ups of them and a lot of them are free to use[stock, etc.].
If you're referring to mine, you're assuming I looked at your entry. The similarities are strictly coincidental.

ummm, it is STRICTLY against "ALL" Stock site user agreements (contracts) that "ANY" stock imagery may "NOT" be used in a logo to brand & or represent a company. Stock images may be used for ad campaigns & complementary graphics, but they may "NOT" be included in a logo to represent a company's brand. A companies brand is unique, a stock image is down loadable by millions, clearly no longer unique & unable to be branded or owned by one person. A business "MUST" own ALL rights to the graphics in their logo / brand or they may find them self in court fighting an infringement suit. Keep in mind that if a business owner is sued, they WILL tell authorities who claimed to design the logo in the first place, at which time the designer then takes on some of that responsibility. It's best to just do things from scratch & keep it original to avoid litigation's. @ CH: you may also want to be careful of PM entries, as other designers can no longer help you detect an infringement. hi, first of all I want to point out two things: 1. to designer mates: I would not copy anybodys concept, this concept is not stolen from anybody who already posted here, bc it came up to my mind yesterday late evening when I was too tired to finish it 2. to the contest holder: I wouldnt post any copypasted images from google or so as for the logo - I did create the birdy myself and here comes my work
made from scratch, no clipart,.... absolutely vector: original twitter from the original site just for compare: differences bird,... differrences layout,.... difference fonts, just same style was used. =)

Witcher, thnx. I won but I am a little confused. Still got no reply from Miatravel and just by chance I found out that Miatravel gave positive itrader to Abdul D. reffering to this contest. I dont know how Renderwork is with this deal but I am left to wait and hope CH will appear soon, explain and get things right.
