My semi-helpful comment is to please remember to come back later and let us know if the money spent on Adwords seemed to provide valuable results.

Best of luck with your big project :)

Maybe we entered the text in the thread in a non specific way

What we are looking for and will pay for is an experienced keywords/adwords provider that will work with us to set up the Adwords on this pilot scheme

We have our own in house teams but we want to outsource this pilot as it may assist and improve upon our ongoing ROI

    Waiting for feedback Thanks :)

I would love to help you out, but I'm currently choc-a-block full with product launches for existing clients :(

... hang on, that should be :)

With respect what was all that about?

Does it mean you are choc-a-block writing posts and you don't have time to work?

It means that I'm busy running other Adwords campaigns for clients and I don't have time for running any more campaigns until February.

My posts in forums are what keep me sane whilst the tea's brewing :)

My girlfriend works for UniLever, so the tea bags have to be PG Tips :)

    Hi britishguy,

I just checked out your site and it looks crisp, clean, professional & easily navigable, however, I think that it would increase your potential ROI greatly if you added more graphical content.

Your destination hotel list pages are crying out for a hotel thumbnail against each of the listings, and the same with the Check Rates and Availability page. Also your hotel overview pages could make far better use of the images that you already have available, and show more than just the one static thumbnail.

Sorry to be negative, but I hate to see someone start to embark on potentially costly PPC until they've tuned their site to generate the maximum possible ROI... Recipe for disaster!

    Good luck!

    Dan

Thanks Dan for your comments after 7 years in travel we have a pretty good feel as to what the business client is looking for

Your points may be the flavor for a percentage but like in any market we try to meet a cross section audience which gives us a width in options

We will implement your points on another of our sites as we have sites that we use for testing

We don't just launch a program without undertaking a focused ROI survey

    Thanks again :)

I'm wondering if you already have been running some low budget trials in order to determine cost, clickthru and conversion estimates for various ad copy?

On a related note, how's your tracking on the destination end of things?
