30$ banner contest -- Winner will receive an offer on 4-5 additional banners

Hey all

Need a banner made for DNand.com

The site is not made yet so the final design will be customised to the banner.

The site focus will be on :

Domain Names and ....
...services
...hosting
...text-links
...ppc advertising

The banner should be made to fit 780X200 pixels. I wont limit you design choices much from the beginning but will offer criticism along the way.

The winner will be offered to make additonal banners and buttons for the site.

The contest will run for 7 days after this post. Payment can be made through Paypal or Moneybookers.

To both of you: I would preffer it more simple.. Hint loose the girls Would preffer something brandable..

Also the additional topic info for DNand was mostly for your benefit.. The other services doesent neccesarily need to be included in the banner. It would be great if it could in a subtle way though. Also i dont really like the colours on either of them

I like your submission. You lost the standard PC pic and gave me a logo. Its simple and nice. I am not sure about the submission box though..

Pretty good. Dont like the standard pic though. And it could use a logo of sorts..

To all.. I would like there to be some play with the DNand ... services... So the name comes into play. I will ask my partner to swing by and comment on the current submissions.. Thank you all for joining in!

 

Thanks all for the submissions, I agree with promo's comments up to this point but would like to change the outline a bit.

Let’s forget about the hosting, links, and ppc for now, as it was more of an after thought and just focus the banner on domain sales and auctions.

General comments:

Borderless please, this can be added at layout level.
No girls. I would like to think that domaining is unisex.
Lets skip the real generic type images.

A note about colour:

The colour choices for this banner will set the theme for the site, so try to picture the over all.

Keep the submissions coming and remember the winner will get the rest of graphic work for the site if interested.

@Ariestoteles Sorry, It still looks too out of the box. Please review our previous comments.

@coolwanz This is on the right track. If you could straighten out the first leg of the N in the circle and run it straight down and maybe loose the first diagonal line (the darker one) behind it.

I think promo has more comments.

This has definate potential. A few comments though. Loose the login box, this banner is for the homepage header. I dont like alot of text on the banner either, so try and use the right space to something imaginative instead of the text.

I like this to. In addition to Dnands comments I would like to see that curly thing that comes down from the top right side gone.. The design is nice and simple except that figure which I cant seem to wrap my brain around.
