Please don't copy original concepts. The "P" lightbulb/question mark is clearly an original concept and intellectual property needs to be respected. komodo: thank you for the feedback. I will see what I can come up with to define it better for you.
It seems people are leaning more towards the lightbulb way. That's awesome, but a question mark is just as important, if not more... since the site is about questions and answers. How are some other creative ways the question mark can be integrated? Thanks guys!
Heres my quick attempt, only had a few minutes to whip it together.. Can work on it more tomorrow if you like.
Oh, I like the idea of adding a comment bubble idea, but that design seems like it's trying too hard. It's hard to tell what it is.
I love how clean this one is. Great job! My only request would be if you could shorten the three spikes a bit so the logo doesn't take up so much vertical real estate. Also, any way to incorporate "Ask questions, get answers!" into it, or maybe even the domain? If it's too busy, don't worry about it, but see how it looks. And Crowquill, very interesting concept. I need to think about that one for a bit.
That one is great. Very clean. Do you guys think you can tell the question mark is a P? Any way to make it more defined? Maybe not, but I'm kinda hoping there is.
The blue version of this logo is growing on me as well. Any way to get the text above it say "Ask questions, get answers!" ? Thanks.
Some concepts here are too close in nature to my own and it's unethical. Whilst I was going to modify my own original concept of the lightbulb/questionmark/P to fit the ch's requirements, I will not do so at this point if concept theft is permissible. It's demoralizing for peers to ride on other's coattails. If you cannot "conceptualize", don't enter!
