$30 + $15 Paypal banner - quick job for the experienced designer.

    Hi guys,

I held a contest the other day and my client chose this logo as the winner.

I am having some trouble incorporating the logo into a banner so I am offering $30 to the person who best integrates the logo into a banner.

They have to look like they belong together - visually...

Here is what I have done... but it just doesn't look right:

I don't have the player legs photo either (so you will have to find a photo somewhere - please make sure it's kids playing football and not adults)

    Instructions:
    1. The banner has to be 880x125 in dimensions with rounded corners as in my example.
    2. There has to be a curved transparent layer as in my example too.
    3. Apart from that, feel free to let your creative juices loose ( I don't know what font the logo uses as the psd supplied by the winner above had the logo as a bitmap with no font specifications) and use your creativity to make the banner/logo combination look good (you can blend the two, the logo boxes are not set in stone)...

The contest winner is kind of slow to respond and I am in a hurry and i am sure you guys can figure out what the font was.

I will pay $30 via paypal to the person I deem best does the job.

I will also pay an extra $15 to the person that uses the above logo to design the best looking business card (it doesn't have to be the same person as for the banner job).

I hope to announce a winner within 24 hours (if I can find one) so please hurry.

@mnuismnu : for the banner... I can do that effect. I am looking for you guys to tear up the logo and blend it into the banner so that it actually looks like it belongs there... perhaps the whole transparent part (on the left) should be covered by the logo - I don't know... this is why I am holding the contest.

For the business card: Not bad, but I don't like the slant on the lines... as that kind of makes it harder to fit in longer names.

@technoguy: same comment as above... I can do what you have done... as demonstrated by my example... I want you guys to use your creative powers to blend the logo and the banner together so that they look like they belong together - you can change the logo box dimensions if it means it will look better with the banner.

@technoguy: you are going in the right direction
    here are some pointers:

    1. please reduce the 3d effect (you can still have it, but current amount making the left hand side too "thick"...
    2. please do something with the square (with the stars) ... as it currently looks like it doesn't belong - it needs blending...

@technoguy: The background behind the stars has to remain blue though

    @technoguy:

    1. please remove the red border from around the banner.
    2. The WYS should be on the red... not partly on the blue.
    3. Can you make the red less transparent.

    Thanks

    geronimo

@technogy: ok cool, thanks technoguy, good entry. (by the way, i don't think that's a rounded rectangle you have there... they look more like they are trimmed edges... could you match my rounded corners please - because the rest of my layout uses the same rounded corners?)

I will wait to see if anyone else comes up with an entry before announcing a winner.

@technoguy... you rounded too much... please superimpose my design against yours to see the difference in the corners for yourself.
