Thanks Trigger looking forward to your entry, I would rather people use the banner that is currently as a guide for the size.

But hopefully the winner provides be the PSD if they are using phot0shop

I want a new logo for the Guns and Roses designed by you , so its completely unique.
Not one currently used as you have 2 there.

The only thing that I want the same is the lead singer picture and the text,
everything else must be designed by the designer

Ok , I want to make this clear
however can you redo the logo thats in the top right corner,
and make it completely new (dont do the old gnr logo/colours)
make it from scratch with a gun and a rose but dont use any previous gnr images. And I want the logo
in the same kind of style (not the same image) as this one

Dont like the black background or the font colours, not very web2.0

although Your logo thats to the right, is one of the best so far, as you have designed it yourself.
However , its not really blending in, I want the logo , the same way done like this one in terms of the way its been designed, not the actual designs

For example, I want the guns and roses to look like they have been drawn, but in an elegant way, the same way that 'moon skull dragon' design has been done, but with guns and roses

 

I would have entered since this would have been fun, but hand drawn stuff takes ages and you have to remember lots of people on here are designers, not artists.

I will probably try later on to see how it goes. Depending how long it will take to draw these things.

 

You can still enter, if no one does a good logo in the banner, then A winner will still be chosen, its just that I would prefer if there was a guns and a rose logo in the banner, even though its not mandatory , its preferred.

The reason for the lack of colour in the font is because the pic of Axel is kinda a designers nightmare so it's difficult to make it work, but whatever alterations you want made I'll see what I can do.

Thats not what we are looking at, at all to be honest. the colours are wrong and looks quiet novice really.

the contrast on axl is a bit off, mabye soft it down a little bit. I would like the font and colours to be more 'web 2.0' in style, and it should be 'chinese democracy forum .com' not (dot com) and that should be bigger in size then the 'dont you try to stop us now.. etc ' which should be beneath the forums url . The background(black) could be lighter in colour to see the design in grey easier thats also in the background.
I would like see more of the gun and gun handle aswell, but I do like the rose you did.

The font for the url is a bit hard to read, and the photoshop of the lead singer isn't the best, I can see some black on hes forehead. and the logo to the right isnt blended in that well, and theres no 'rose' image there either.
But the background colours are ok.
