I have noticed that lots of people are looking for services where they can check the number of backlinks they have, but several of these websites dont seem to deliver or they give huge variations in the numbers. I have tried and tested several services for a long period and here is my top list: https://ahrefs.com/ http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/ https://www.majesticseo.com/ All these services have a free and a paid version. The free version is naturally limited but will give you a good idea of how many backlinks you actually have in addition to for instance the number of no follow vs do follow links.opensiteexplorer also has an easy interface for comparing your backlinks to a few competitors.
