I think I will start buying textlinks from various sites that rank high in Google for my top keywords
1. Exchange Links 2. Google 3. Link Bait I think the above are my main three referrers at the present time. Mike.
Another good way is making your site viral or if you can't do that then certain pages in your site viral and then people will link to it theirselves and spread the word freely.

I would say submitting to directories is good way to get some free traffice. You just have to know where to look to submit them!
does submitting articles really help that much? I've thought about doing that but haven't spent too much time on it. Maybe i should stop focusing on link exchanges and start going with article marketing
I have had alot of success with articles. If you put out even just 10 articles to 10 article submission places I guarantee you will see results! I still get traffic from old articles. I like this method alot.
Thanks kd, I've been trying to figure out ways to help promote my blog network with the least amount of effort but really haven't hit on anything yet. Maybe this will work and I can get some good google juice to boost visitors and in the mean time get some good traffic. Thanks
I don't think articles will be quite good as they use to, but they are still good. I may even get some more distributed. If you are not sure if they are good, then think how viral they are. Articles are quite viral. You could right an article about health or automotive and it becomes viral straight away practically. The reasons for this is because once you add it to the article banks you always get people scraping the articles, new article directories startups, which then purchase articles from here, etc. I don't know how many of my articles have been sold amongst others in bundles of 30,000 in this forums, but I can say that I am getting a good steady flow of traffic from the articles that I submitted 2 years ago as they are still being distributed accrossed the web.
