I believe if you are going to do a large project then you need to have 4 basic things in order for it to work. Money: Let's face it you can't build big site all by yourself and handle the other 4 basic things. You need money to launch the site correctly no one likes a site that is half finished. It needs to operate near perfect and you need promotion power straight away. The plan: If you have money but don't know what to do with it then its no good. You need a good business plan that you will do with the money and it needs to match your funds as well. Time: If you are running a bunch of other projects then you won't make it so you need the time to be able to focus on this. Confidence: The confidence of getting the job done and a positive thought on it is important, without it you won't get through the front door of online business. I've been really annoyed for the past couple of years because I've been juggling with these. I have tons of money and an idea but I realize that I don't have the time. I have all 3 except the confidence for starting something big. Honestly I feel that my time has past. I doubt I'm ever going to be able to have all three of these needs to do something big online. The reason I'm making this topic is because I'm looking for honest answers on a question. I always wanted to do a large business venture online but I've never had the opportunity. I've got lots of really unique business plans but I've never had the time or confidence to even touch base and start it. Its been 6yrs that I've held on to this network idea that's never been done before and I still do not feel confident that I can handle this responsibility because of the matter of the fact that I have too much on my plate and do not have the time. Is it time that people like me should just give up hope and stop wasting my life thinking about it? Its been 6yrs.
I would say it's never too late to start an online business. The worst thing that can happen is you spend a little time and money on something that just turns into a hobby thanks to the generally low startup fees of building a website. It seems like you know what is required to build a business (which puts you ahead of a lot of people) and after all, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" - Wayne Gretzky .
Its all about execution. You can have the greatest idea in the world, but if you do not execute your never going to end up going anywhere
