With the alarming rate of internet scams, it has become necessary the general public is enlightened and the forum is one good way to begin. Below are some of the signs you should take note of. 1. Google & BBB Simply Google the business or company in question and the result will tell you more about the company. If you can’t find the company or site on Google then there is a huge possibility that the opportunity isn’t real. Another source you can use to verify a company or site is called the “Better Business Bureauâ€. You can search Google for “Better Business Bureau†and proceed to check with the BBB is the company is listed. Reputable businesses often register their presence out there. 2. Money Back Guarantee Legitimate internet business often offers a money back guarantee. That way you have the chance of test riding the business for FREE while you decide to continue or quit. Always ensure that the duration is long enough for you to experiment. 3. Testimonials Most good businesses provides testimonial. Nice submission! Another suggestion is to see if they have a phone number on the website. Depending on the product/service, they should have a phone number to call and talk to someone there. That's usually a good sign if it's a real business or someone's basement hobby.
I was told testimonials can be made up and someone on the forum here shared that when he wanted his money back no one ever answered ... sorry to be discouraging ... but it's best to look these things straight into the eye! Reviews of a product I find helpful too - just google them.
Research, Research and More Research ... Followed by Action, Action and More Action Most Good Businesses will have an opt-in box to receive further information that you can opt-out at any time. Look for one that can offer value in free tutorials to grow your knowledge. Do a couple at a time so you can compare. Speak to a person that is offering you the product and ask allot of questions with any concerns you have. If you still have more Why not's that Whys on your list then move onto the next. Keep in mind that 97% of internet marketers fail to make more money than they spend and this is not always due to the product but the mindset of the individual.
