look, I have more than 3 sites and there was a time when I did not even reach the $0.50 mark and I even have 300+ visitors that day (per site)! Come on, no whining on the board. :p

I really would advise working dilligently on one site until it averages at least a dollar a day, then keep working on that and start on the other two again.

Your problems may be due to low traffic on your oldest site. Your two newer sites are really not old enough to be considered a problem yet.

If those non-adsense ads aren't performing, try putting adsense in those slots, as above-the-fold is the best place for adsense. If you are leaving the adsense where it is, try larger square units.

Does your question have anything to do with the poster trying to spam the forums or get clicks from members? I mean how many times can you post your links in one post? Is it truly necessary to do it 3 times?

a quick glance at alexda data n my ffx
and a quick use of web developwer toolbar shows

    1
2 sites have abouit 0 traffic
the 3rd one near 0 traffic
    hence no people no $

    2.
all 3 sites appaar to be template sites
= plenty of fatal errors on html on ALL 3 sites

    3.
all 3 have colors that are unfit for adsense top results
all 3 sites have IMO color schemes that are unpleasant to surf

    4.
all 3 are far too slow loading on my 256 DSL
under normal circomstances i would abort any pageload before load finish on such sites

    final
there is plenty of very basic web design lessons apparently missing
hence no learning = no success

here they say = no money no honey
    i say
    no work no money
    logically results in
    no work no $

Small changes making the site easily navigatable and removing some ads can help.

I made 4 changes to my ads that increased my CTR by 0.4% and went from 1.00/day to $5-10/day

    1. Match site background color
    2. use channels and remove or move non performing ads (10000 impressions, at 0.1% ctr hurts your overall CTR)
    3. follow googles heat map it does work. Even if you think you cant find a way the hot spots are actualy hot.
    4. Make your site for the visiters not for ads. Dont plaster ads everywhere (like I did) give them 1 or 2 smartly placed ads on the page, anymore and they know what not to click on. you want them to think you made a site for them not for ads.

Site this was used on http://famousqt.com

Old layout had 3 google ads
-1 at top where bios are.
-1 where list of celebs are
    -1 at bottom of page
-1 link unit below the header on all pages

Now no more than 2 on a page and much higher CTR

It doesn't bother me, it makes me suspicious. But to play nice, I'll ask you how much traffic you are getting?

Good pick up - missed that. As for the original post, didn't mean to bite your head off. I just get a bit suspicious when I see someone put their links all over the place. But seeing that you are lurking in this thread, and following up on the reponses, I'll believe ya!

I will say that popups to your other site are kind of lame. Work on content, as I think that is truly king.

Consider increasing traffic to your sites instead of bothering about ad placement etc.
Those tips will work only when you have sufficient traffic.

With the right niches and Adsense layout you can make $1-4 a day from a site with only 20 daily visitors. I have many sites that do just that and these aren't 'high paying keyword' type sites.

What Jeet said is very true. I was in that position at one time (and each new site I launch goes through that phase), so I can empathize.

Build up the traffic to one site: sumbit to site directories, do press releases, sumbit to article directories, find link exchange opportunities... whatever it takes.
