I know many people are on DP to learn and be more productive. Here are 3 tips that will help you better manage your time. 1) Use a calendar for crying out loud! - I see this all the time. People start projects and can't remember when they added, or when then are supposed to add important updates. Having a paper calendar or a dry erase calendar handy will most likely alleviate major headaches caused by "stuffing to much information" into your brain and forgetting important dates. 2) Use a dry erase magnetic board - Golden ideas pop into our heads all the time. Unfortunately, they usually "pop" when we are in the middle of a important task. Here is a solution that also helps save paper. Keep a dry erase board and marker on your desk. This is best way to easily jot down ideas for future reference and you can easily return to your important task. Erase and repeat! 3) Take breaks - If you're stuck on a problem take a breather and stretch for a minute or two. It's almost guaranteed a solution or new idea will "pop" into your head thus increasing productivity. I hope these simple tips help a few folks out. Cheers (It's happy hour!) Mike.
