Hello All, I have three questions regarding Google AdWords: 1) Google AdWords image ad I noticed that there are several banner size. Now can we upload all size for single campaign or only one size is to be used, or multiple campaign are to be created for multiple banner size? 2) Search AD & Content Network If we are using image only, does that goes into Search AD, Content Network or both, or can we use text ad and image ad in single campaign? 3) Ads in Gmail How does that work, I can see that they are text ADs, but do we select/enable any option for our text AD to be displayed there in Gmail too, or it's automatic? As I am a noob in this area, I think it's best to get guidance from veterans here at DP.
Image ads are only for the content network. There are no image ads in search. By the way, I recommend to keep your search campaigns separate from your content campaigns. You can have image ads in all sizes in the same group, no problem. Note that there is a limit of 50 image ads per account. Of course, only one ad is shown at a time. Whatever image size the site allows will be used for which your rank for. Gmail. If you opt in to the content network, your ads may show in Gmail. Each gmail message is treated like any other page on the Internet: a theme to the page (in this case the email content) is determined and matched to themes according to your keywords.
Thanks for the explanation. I can understand your point about keeping search and content campaigns separate. As of now 50 images per account is quite a big number for our needs, so no worries about that, as of now we just wanted to cover all the banner size. Thanks again.
