In adsense for search it shows as 3 queries and 2 clicks but no earnings. What could be the reason ? And what is CTR ?

Public service ads maybe. Not sure earnings show up later than clicks maybe they will earn money. if not public service ads or invalid click.

Invalid clicks are those clicks generated by a person that does not have real interest on knowing what service is selling behind the ad. A click may also be known as invalid if it is generated through prohibited methods. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to: repeated manual clicks, or the use of robots, automated clicking tools, or other deceptive software.

yea, you're right my friend this happened to my account also showing 3 clicks but not a single cent earned and the main reason behind it is only the invalid clicks and google tracks them because to protect the advertiser's money to be wasted for spammers, so you wanna know about CTC, ok...Click-through rate or CTR is a way of measuring the success of an online advertising campaign. A CTR is obtained by dividing the number of users who clicked on an ad on a web page by the number of times the ad was delivered (impressions). For example, if your banner ad was delivered 100 times (impressions delivered) and one person clicked on it (clicks recorded), then the resulting CTR would be 1 percent. enjoy google adsense!
