Hello All, I have a site, that I have had for roughly 3-4 months and it has bounced around between predicted PR of 1 - 3. According to Backlinkwatch and Iwebtool backlink checker I have ~100 backlinks, some are PR 4, 3, 2. I even have an EDU backlink. All of the articles in the article section of the site are all unique, many of latest news stories on the front page are unique, some are from other sites with a link to that article on their site. For whatever reason, it will not get indexed and I dont understand why, I have submitted Sitemaps, updated them every week, etc. I have 1 page indexed on Yahoo!, ~100 on MSN and 0 on Google. Its also strange that the page on Yahoo and all of the pages on MSN are Cached pages and some of them on MSN dont exist anymore. Can anyone possibly let me in on what I may be doing wrong? the URL is http://getcredit365.com
Hi, Same problem here... my site is 5 months old with predicted PR of 5 and having 7000 backlinks, not yet indexed. I'm waiting with my fingers crossed...Hope both of us will get indexed in the next PR updation.
kittyluver, your site IS indexed...checked in Google - > site:yoursite .com but LazyD, I'm just as puzzled as you are why your site isnt indexed. Are your links relevent links?
LazyD, I looked at the first few links showing for you on MSN and they looked like they were on pages with too many links, or pages that weren't themselves indexed, and were often not relevant pages. If the other links are similar that will be your problem. Try and get a few links on relevant, indexed pages (preferably with PR but not crucial) and I think you'll be indexed pretty soon. Otherwise a handful of free directory submissions should work as long as the pages are indexed. kittyluver, looks from here like your site is indexed. cheers
Oseymour - I cant really tell when the last time it was Crawled, I can tell you that they download my Sitemap every few days. TopDraw - In the last month I have gotten more and more relevant ones as well as a few paid directories and such Rasputin - I think you are correct, I think many of my links are of the same caliber as the ones you saw. I have submitted to many free directories as well as some paid directories, I paid for a blog posting about my site with Deeplinks on a PR4 and I have links from investing blogs, some with PR. Is it worthwhile to trust sites like Backlinkwatch and Iwebtool backlink checker?
Same here mate my site is not getting indexed either still waiting, but no luck so far. http://www.opendooryouth.com I did sitemaps and everything. The site is PR3 - Prilep
When did you start your link building campaign? I think your link building is fine and just wait for few more weeks before your site get indexed. Some of the options that you might want to try is: Buy sig links from lot of forums. Also from Dp members. It seems to me that you only have few post. Try trading sig with DP people. Article submission and submit as many directories as you can. Actually I didn't submit my website to directories before my site got indexed I just put it on my sig. But directories will give you backlinks in the future. Also check your script because you might be using not SEO friendly pages. Try using mod rewrite for your site. Preferably .html
Hi LazyD , your site is indexed by google, but still pr0. If want to get some PR, you should build some backlinks(e.g. submit directory)
Yea seriously, what Datacenter are you seeing me indexed on? Bondat - I have seen and been told by DP members that SE's dont give any special attention to .html versus .php extension. The only thing I havent yet setup mod rewrite for is the news.php page which im planning on doing here in a sec. Ive been told that submitting articles may not help me since my site has yet to be indexed that ill recieve a duplicate content penalty... Edit: I submitted to a couple more directories, one included Aviva directory, so im hoping that could help...
