3 Month old Google cache after website redesign - any ideas?

    Hi All,

We have recently re-designed a clients website(s), combining 4 domains into 1 site. We used 301 re-directs to re-direct the majority of the currently index pages.

The problem we have is that none of the new content is being picked up across any of the domains. An example is the www.tilingcourses.co.uk site - the cache for the index file is from 30th January 2010 and does not want to update.

We have re-submitted the sitemaps, linked to the domains from busy pages in order to get the crawlers looking through them again but nothing.

All the old pages are still indexed in the Google SERP's, not no new pages.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

(Application overview - 4 domains run off a single Rails application, using routing to pass the correct content back to the user. 301 re-directs are done using .htaccess file.)

    Thanks in advance

I think we've found the solution, now just need to wait until Google indexes sites again.

Interesting that bing and Yahoo picked up the new content.....
