Feedback 3 likes to start a thread in Buy, Sell and Trade section?!

I dont want to be seen as racist, but when I was running my own forum, I cannot remember a single time when a spammer was not from india.

I have done it before where I have blocked entire countries from accessing certain sites and it reduced the workload in moderation significantly without any impact on the income.

 

I don't sense that you are a racist as you are making a statement based on your own personal experiences. What I have issues with is those that come on here and make sweeping judgements on a whole group of people, based on their personal prejudices. There is a subtle difference between the two.

Calm down, mate. Can get scammed by anyone from anywhere. Just be more careful next time, do better due diligence and use Escrow.

If I were to write something like: "I am sick to death of members from Malaysia, everyone I've dealt with from there is a scammer!", wouldn't you say that was ignorant as well as stupid?

One of my best friends on DP is from Malaysia. You've no doubt heard of her, so I know all about what you wrote. I also have friends from India, ever been there? I have twice and I was never treated so well.

I don't know about that, i have tried to contribute to posts, both in general and by established members and received no likes.

And some of these answers took a while to put together.

The point is likes are not as easy as that. I've seen people contributing decent answers and have like 400+ posts with no likes. Its very discouraging.

Of course that pushes me to buy a membership.

Which begs the question why not just ban the post whores instead of making everyone pay?

 

I myself have "suffered" from the 3 like rule. I used to post free wordpress themes that I coded in the cheap stuff section, and now even there you can't post anything without having the 3likes. I personally don't understand why you need to go through all that, when you want to give something for free to the community.

And my previous post is just about my personal experience and opinion. I have no time, nor do I care to entertain your posts. How can someone feel offended by remarks to groups outside their kind?

What this means is that at the very least, the mods are aware that one member on here considers you to be a racist.

Maybe your sales pitch needs more working on. Work on getting more likes as this might help in people trusting the services that you provide.
