Given the recent DigitalPoint Co-op exposure on some blogs, is the Coop network link juice pass in risk on Google’s eyes? The british leader in the serps for "credit cards" has a massive Digital Point Co-op network campaign running with 1.6 million backlinks logged. As links can’t be bought, have they found an exploit on the system or are all links endorsed? I didn’t even knew the Co-op network was that big. Isn’t the ads.digitalpoint.com invisible gif footprint the cause of all our worries? Is there any idea of developing alternative tracking methods in the future? Updade: After reading it: Isn't this the final nail on Co-op network coffin (hope not): http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=638356 Should this sale be allowed to go on?
i would be very interested in the answer to this too. are there people who think the sale of the info should stop ? i am not looking for a flame fight on the ins and outs of it again just want the opinion of should i stop to protect the co-op or continue
Seems like no one cares or that no one wants to raise awareness on these issues? Maybe some are thinking: let me profit while it lasts, and keep quiet about it?
