1) eHow.com (PR8). - Visit eHow.com and click the "Join Now" button on the top right - Fill in the form and click "Register Now" - Login and click "Edit Profile" - Make sure that you put your website URL in "Web Site" box and also write a sentence or two in the "About Me Box" - include your website URL with your keywords in the anchor text. - Click the "Save Changes" button and check everything looks ok by clicking the "see my public profile" button. 2) Blogger.com (PR8). This part of the task does not involve setting up a blog, it is simply a way to get a backlink. - If you don’t already have a Google account create one. - Login to Blogger.com with your Google account - "Edit Profile" - There is a space to add our website but this is a nofollow link (not counted as a backlink). BUT, if you edit the "About Me" section you can add your website and anchor text and get a backlink. - "Save Profile" 3) StatCounter.com (PR8) - backlink from the forum. - Visit the Statcounter Forum and register - Login and click on your username, then click on "user cpanel" and then on “edit your details†- Enter your website URL in the "Your Home Page" box - Scroll down and click "Save Changes" - If you can make a post in the statcounter forum as well this will help to get your profile page indexed more quickly, but you do not have to do this. Enjoy...
Is it can be affect? whereas it had a page rank of the homepage, and we just have an profile on them btw, thanks for share
Your infos sucks .. On eHow the profile link even is a external link , they sure modified the .htacces for that .
I think the backlink from ehow dont count as they keep nofollow link on external url's, So there is no use of joining this sites.
thanks but i would much rather have links from 3 pr 8 Pages but these are still useful, there are tons of sites that have the ability to add your link in the profile, these sites normally have good pr making it easier to raise the pr of your profile page that contains the links.
According to this (eHow) article: http://www.ehow.com/how_5469166_dofollow-links-ehow.html, links from your eHow profile are DoFollow links and recognized by the search engines for determining PR.
Even if they are nofollow, there's a lot of debate as to whether or not they're counted - and the consensus seems to say that they're counted as a backlink, they're just not near as powerful as dofollow links are. Would you rather have a portion of a high PR link or the full force of the average blog comment? Plus, wouldn't having some nofollow links thrown into your linking profile make your linkbuilding efforts look a little more, well.. natural?
Another one is photocase.com/en/ PR7 - Upper right hand corner there is a button to register - After registering, go to the tab that says "My Photocase". Select the link that says "Show My User Profile" - Place your HTML code in the comments section to create your anchor text link.
these link are almost pointless unless you want to build thousands of them to rank for a long tailed keyword!
I beg to differ the way I see it each and every link you have out there has the potential to bring your viewer's and if you have good quality content that person may just tell another. So there is no such thing as a bad link. IMO. Thanks OP. For these tips.
