I have many software developer friends in Ukraine, noone earns less than $1000/month. Very few earns $2500/month. So go figure. It's also 3rd world. Designer less, but nowhere near that $80-$100 region. It's just 3 weeks food I think.
Use them as web traffic assistants if they have the skills, otherwise hire new staff. Anything that brings in targeted traffic to your websites. Writing content, backlink building, keyword, niche and product research, setting up blogs, social networking, social bookmarking, submissions, creating and posting videos etc.
I am a software Engineer from India working for one of the largest IT companies in India. My C2C is INR 24000 and get around INR 21000. Not bad as I've just joined the company after completing my Engineering. I have to meet my own expenses only and its pretty good for me. Though me and my friends stay together and we pay our cook more than $85. LOL []

You are a lucky person if you got those persons to work for you only for 85$ per month. I personally would ask them to write unique articles for my bloog but I am sure you have other interests. Anyway .. good luck with your business
being from Cochin, I can confirm that this guy is telling the truth or that its possible to get a graduate for 85$ a month. we used to have a link building guy with us @ the range of 85-100 a month.... I used to work in a telecom company here on field for 125$ including all allowances (inc. fuel) about 2 years back...now they get about 150$. But the problem is that they are unskilled...they follow your instructions to the core...do no thinking...it will work out for link building and marketing....not so much for content development.
Have you checked their works recently? Do you look for quality? Or just quantity? Writing content can be done by anyone but I guess I have to go by quality. If they mess up, plagiarize or something, I'd definitely let them go.
