Social bookmarking, Forum, Blog commenting and Aritcle/PR postings can bring good backlinks as well good traffic over the period of time.. Check for the NO FOLLOW attribute before building the links..

 

I like social bookmarking for seo, but I never seem to get much traffic from it, honestly if you want traffic I think forum marketing in your specific niche can work wonders
