Hello.. I have one site,which is very well ranked and indexed in Google,but before 2 days,i deleted the whole site and revamped it all.. Now,i have a more nice site ,and have a Joomla Tutorials section in it.. Im just confused abt one thing.. Actually,i have 2 links for each tutorial page.. Like http://www.domain.com/install-joomla-in-localhost.html and http://www.domain.com/install-joomla-in-localhost-1.html For each of article,i add, 2 URLs are generated for it. Is that of any bad for my new indexing in Google ?? Kindly let me know.. I dont want to lose my customers...
As a general rule, you should do whatever you can to avoid duplicate content. But I think you'll probably be ok.
no problem on it, but need to do promotion will be problem by this 3 , so concentrate only in the one URL for promotion
ut i just read from Google Blog that,this can be a huge problem.. Well,i just worked on my site completely now and fixed the issue.. now i have all unique URLs for each of my site URL.. Thanks But i submitted a SITEMAP to Google before 1 day,when i had duplicate URLs.. Shall i delete it again and submit the updated one now ?? Does Google hate resubmitting of sitemap again and again ??
