i just acquired a url snipping site which the previous owner let expire. i am new to the whole advertising and marketing aspect of the web, however my webalizer reports this does this look promising if i were to monetize it? what ad system should i look into running?
Well, looks like you got your lucky break. I've done a lot of waiting for hot domains to expire, then waiting for the dead period before it becomes available again but the jerks always re-register.
That's a pretty lucky break you got. I would put up adsense, maybe some banner advertising, and affiliate sales.
adsense is good but don't forget about experimenting with some affiliate sales on it too they sometimes pay off 500% of what adsense can. sometimes
Do you have content on that site? If not, are you going to make it another url shortening Website? If nothing else, park the domain. Use a parking company that uses Google feeds for maximum payout. Check my sig or no referral revenuedirect.com. Nice find!

I am no expert but I think the smart thing to do would be make it the same type of site it was before and put ads on it.
Man you are so lucky...people look for traffic everywhere and you are getting it free with your domain..
you lucky so and so! Deff get some adense looking ads on there, but replace them with your own affiliate links!
That is great! You should put some content on that domain, add it to a few search engines (although not needed since you got so much traffic already), and then add adsense for starting off. See how that goes, and if it does not get you much income, then look to affiliate programs or experience with other companies.
That is the webalizer stats from your cpanel right? From what i can see the stats arn't that accurate. i have looked my stats from Webalizer and they are overly inaccurate. Use Awstats which gives more reasonable and decent stats .
