Hi, 3 days ago I signed up for a ClickBank account. I really wanted to see what it was all about, and used some money I had in my AdWords account to market a few products. I didn't expect any sales but have already made $40. Not much, but I'm quite proud as its my first time with ClickBank and I've only been doing it a few days! But I know there's a long way to go before I start earning $$$-$$$$ daily... PS: Any tips from you CB veterans on how to do well!? ie. best ways to market products, products with best conversion rates etc.
Congrats man! $40 in your first days with CB is quite an accomplishment, especially when you take into consideration that it takes a few weeks for most people new to CB before they get their first sale! You're probably already doing this as an Adwords advertiser, but make sure you're tracking which keywords are converting... Most people forget this (or think they don't need it), but it's the only way to be able to further optimize your campaigns & ROI.
Yeah, I'm currently testing about 3 products and in a few days will look at the best keywords etc. I just hope my account funds do not run out too quickly!! PS: forelmashi - I've made $40, not sold 40 products.
Hey Bio, good work! Sounds like you have a formula for success going on there. As far as tips, there's a lot of information you can find by combing through the forums here - one thing I would say is stay away from those mp3/zune/ipod mp3/movie download programs! Not only do they have a high refund rate, but Clickbank is also cracking down on them too. Other than that, there's a ton to learn and research! Make sure to manage your adspend so you don't run over your budget.. but otherwise, it sounds like you're doing well - keep it up! -T
When i start clickbank, i had use adwords and get 1 sales with first 3 days. I'm so happy and continue with adwords, but unfortunately no more sales after than . I didn't change anything in adwords ads. any i also try to choose better keywords but it's still no sales. Don't know what happen, and maybe it is easy to get sales when you first join (or just good enough with luck??) Anyway, will try to figure out how to get sales, or you can share some tips by using adwords.
I havent gotten a sale yet but its still early. 10 clicks, $1 later and no sales. Dad says dont get worried till $5 and 50 clicks later.
The world of internet marketing is quite vast. Make sure you do plenty of research before you just jump into promoting products. You can lose a lot of money real fast.
Most importantly, how to sell and who to sell to. The above things are definitely important, but if you know how to find the right audience and sell to them, you have a tremendously higher chance to be successful. All the above things are kind of nitty-gritty details, smaller parts of the big picture, which is ultimately to sell the product and make money. If you can focus on finding the person who wants to, no, *needs* to have your product, and then placing it front of them in a way they would be stupid to refuse, you will definitely see results. -T
Thanks for your tips. But regarding the right audience, does it mean proper targeted keyword and clear description in adwords?
Well done! congrat... Why don't you start learn the BUM Marketing... it's great in promoting the affiliate product!
Well, it means that, but it also means properly targetted product and audience. You can spend a lot of time trying to sell a product to an audience who really isn't interested in buying! Or, you could have the perfect audience but turn them away because your landing page sucked. Match the message with the audience, all the way around, and you both win. -T
Welcome! And Congratulations! You are already way ahead of the game if you're already making sales. I'll be honest and say I haven't yet read the other replies to your post, so if I'm being repetitive just ignore me. I don't know whether you're using one yet, but I highly recommend landing pages over direct links. I have a friend who makes tons of money without landing pages but most of my money has been made from them, so I push their use because not only can you perform better tracking with a landing page but you can also pre-sell a product and then disguise your links to look like regular links to the product (cloaking). All around, just an outstanding sales technique. Additionally, I don't know what other people have said about PPC networks but as I said in my recent reply to my thread, I have started using only YMS (Yahoo! Marketing Solutions) to push my ClickBank products. Not only is it cheaper in general, but for some reason, more clicks lead to sales on YMS. However, when starting out, I highly recommend testing several networks as you may find that they're ALL profitable for you. It all really depends on your budget. One thing I've learned the hard way is not to just let your campaigns run free. Definitely put caps on them but not so much as to stifle your income. Okay, I'll stop filling up the thread with my nonsense but once again, congratulations and many returns.
You have some good advice! Hows my landing page(link in sig) also when are you online? add bioxio33 to your bud list, id like to chat
