I need a vector-based logo for Supplementarium, with the following properties: The actual logo part (without text) needs to fit into a square area The text to the right of the logo needs to be "Supplementarium" The whole logo should fit in the current header area of the site, i.e. without being too big In addition, I need a some other things: wavy graphic near top of page - use different colours/design to fit with website's colour scheme graphic just above footer (to replace the plants) - need something applicable to supplements favicon that is based on the graphic part of the logo Facebook cover & profile images - see https://www.facebook.com/SubstanceReviews for what I use for my old domain. I don't mind something completely different, but it needs to be colourful and on theme. I may extend the contest past 3 days, depending on participation, but would really like to pick a winner within the initial time period.
Edit: I've decided to split the $100 as follows: $40 for the logo + favicon $30 for the onsite wavy graphic + graphic above footer $30 for the Facebook cover & profile images Since (3) might (or might not) use similar designs as in (1), there is a good chance that part (3) will be awarded to the winner of (1). Let me know if you have any questions.
Main logo Favicon Site sketch snapshot If we're heading the right way, we can develop the wave and facebook graphics easily.
I think it's great so far! I like the logo and the font. One thing I didn't mention though, is that I plan to put a scaled down version of this logo (+ text) in the footer, right above the copyright. So if you could do something that would complement this logo just above the footer, that would be ideal.
Thanks for the feedback. About the graphic you've imagined down there, I would suggest putting a silhouette of the logo. That can be also used as a corporate identity symbol for places where the main logo would look very busy. For example, footers/headers of invoices, letters, faxes, etc. Something like this:
Thanks for your entry. I like the font, again. The website caters towards everybody (men and women), and is about supplements for all kinds of things, so I don't want to give the impression that it's mainly for men and about strength building.
It's getting better, but I don't like the figure of the person. I don't know what the crescent shape is supposed to represent.
Thanks, that's neat. The logo is very original and abstract, and I love the font, too. I'd prefer a different graphic (that isn't the same as the logo) above the footer, though, since I might use a small version of the main logo (with the text) in the actual footer (just above the copyright). Edit: I would like the logo more without the star shape and darker colour around it. That would also be hard to work into the CSS, i.e. positioning it over the menu like that. Edit 2: Maybe you meant the colour to be the same as the header background; I don't know.
