3 character domain names

how valuable are 3 character domain names ? i se some one sedo like b5d with a bid of 500$ are they really that valuable ?

 

Pretty valuable because of their convenient short length and memorability. I think they're all taken at the moment, but they usually cost a high 3-figure sum minimum. Better still if it's something that's actually a pronounceable word!

 

how is 4 letter pages then even if they dont spell a word? nit as valuable as 3 ?

 

4-letter are generally not as valuable because there are more combinations of letters/figures and they are less memorable.

 

Supply & demand tied with availability helps increase prices.

I managed to buy a 1993 LLL.com last week which will hopefully be a great investment! It will take quite some time for LLLL.com's to catch up, adding numbers dilutes the value a lot but certainly has some value.

 

3 character .com's are valuable, other 's are not no valuable

would 3 letter domains with swedish letters like åäö be valua? example (påå.com) and how is domains like (p3a) etc? do that count as a 3letter domain or not ?
