How can google get away with giving me only 3 cents for one of my clicks? That's absurd. Anyone here get any horrible ppc (or is it cpc)?
I have tried Yahoo publisher and I can get more than a dollar for some clicks, but they don't have CPM advertisers. I think Google should up their minimum bid.
Get away with what? Gooogle does not decide what the payout for certain keywords are. The advertisers do.
That is pretty much the gist. I get those type of clicks all the time. But lots of clicks makes up for it
One of my sites, which is a labour of love,is the same. It's a niche, has 1000+ uniques a day,an excellent ctr (above 10) and never makes more than $5/day. Because of the nature of the site there is no real way to to make any other income from it other than adsense. However, there is one keyword that I can't seem to rank well for. When I get that one in the top 5 on G I fully expect my visitors to rise 10 fold. Now that is some income worth having even at a very low figure per click Just keep plugging away at it and it will come.
The system is working verry good for both sides. Advertisers and publishers. We must be greatfull that Google is offering this tool to us to make money more easy with our sites.
Occasionally I've had 2 or 3 clicks = 1 cent. Other times 1 click = $2. Just gotta stick with it and hope it evens out over time.
Why should google up it minimum bid just to keep you happy? The adwords advertisers drive our adsense income and the only reason for low click payments is that there is little competition for that keyword. If the guy whose advert paid you $0.03 didn't advertise you would probably get $0.00. Be grateful and try and get more traffic - but if the keywords are cheap then it stands to (logical) reason that the topic is not a particularly popular one, or at least low in "commercial" terms.
one of my sites I get 3 cents ish a click, others 1.45 ish a click, try different content site, see which converts higher.
Try another content. Also check if you are affected by smart pricing. 2 weeks ago I deleted ads in some low visited and converting websites and my CPC multiplied enough to gain more than before. Maybe this link can make you understand a little: problogger.net/archives/2006/02/28/publisher-uses-multiple-adsense-accounts-to-increase-earnings/
i get everything from 0.01 to 2.00 clicks, few thousand clikcs average out on about 0.20 or roughly 0.80 per thousand impressions
haha sometime you get 0 cent for click It happens. Try to add more contents on your pages with good headings and title.
