I have a question based on Google's policy only allowing a maximum of 3 content units and 2 link units on a page. I'm using Wordpress. If you insert ads within your posts say, under the title and at the end of the blog post. This equals two ads that feature on the index page plus whatever you have in other areas such as a sidebar or header or whatever. Because the ad code has been placed in the themes files rather than the individual post, how does this affect Googles policies? As on the Blog homepage, adverts will show on each post.
I'm 99.99% sure that even if you have more ad units on the page, it won't show more than the max # of units you're allowed to display on each page.
This is not true, if any website has more ad-units that google recommended in its policy then it will ban your site , because page or website quality has to be good for reading purposes. You can insert ads anywhere you want, but google will count the ads number once it goes to that particular page. ex : if you have 2 ads on sidebar and 1 on header on main page then it is total of 3 ads to the main page , however if someone opens your post and you have 2-3 ads there, then that total would become 3+2 =5 ads to that page.Always abide by the rules of google adsense policy as google has the right to disapprove any site at any time they wishes to . However you can have upto 8 ads per page only not more than that. 8 ads are divided into 3 content ad units + 3 link unit ads + 2 search box ads . below is the screen shot of adsense policy . Hi, I too facing same issue for my blog www.healthinfonews1.blogspot.com Insufficient content: To be approved for AdSense and show relevant ads on your site, your pages need to have enough text on them for our specialists to review and for our crawler to be able to determine what your pages are about. Can some one please suggest me on this.
