3 ad units per page policy

adsense TOS says i can have 3 ad units per page. can i use the same ad units or should they all be different?

for example, 3 336x280 boxes or 2 336x280 boxes and 1 leader board?

or should it be 1 336x280, 1 leader board, and 1 468x80 banner?

You can use the size you want. Can be all equal or different, doesn't matter.

i just got my adsense account approved and i'm trying to do everything by the book

 

3 content ads, 3 link units, and one search box is the maximum you can put. can be any size of your choice

Before, i am not sure the TOS whether change again

 

plus three referral ads I guess, or that was two? anyway you can put some referral ads too.

 

You don't need to worry - more than three ad's will not show on your page anyway
