I am not sure what you people are talking about. I have the pay-ads code on one of my sites and the only ad that is displayed is a join-pay-ads.com ad. I clicked on the ad and it goes to pay-ads.com.. it didn't redirect to another site, and no trojans were put on my system. I don't know if things have changed in a few days as I just joined a few minutes ago. So I'm not sure what u guys are talking about

 

I am guessing either you are not in US or that you were fortunate enough to not encounter those ads. The trojans are targeted mainly at US traffic. Also the full page redirects after a few secs (6-10sec) in some cases.

You can see how excited i was about pay-ads when i started out my experiment (check my first post), but from my experience with them i can assure you that if you are looking to build a site with good rep and long term benefits dont go near them. Your users will despise you for using it. You will lose traffic and get a bad name in your industry.

If you still want to try it so bad, TRY IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

They use javascript downloads that prevent you from openning your regular site!! I was just using it but I removed it now

Advice? Buy some quality antivirus. If you haven't been religious, now is the time to start praying.

I've been a member of pay-ads and they paid me about 20 cents but from the start it all looked very strange, harmful like. What are the indicators that pay-ads is bad?

1) All the time, the banner you are promoting, shows the same thing.
2) When you go to "advertise" or "buy ads" section on their site, it is not available. It has never been available.
3) In my case, when I tried to get some referrals, the link was always bad. It means that someone could sign up through it but he/she wouldn't be listed as my referral.

There are probably many more issues with the site you just have to find them. Some have already been posted.
