jammy47 - I spend about $3,000-$5,000 to start a campaign up. Usually $3,000 to get it to break-even, then it's profit from there. You spend a ton in the beginning of a campaign because say you're testing 200 exact match keywords.. You might find 75% of those keywords do NOT convert and you have to weed them out. Then you will find yourself some profitable verticals. From there drill into those verticals that convert.. Your next question is probably, when do I kill a keyword? I kill one after 2x the payout of my offer. So if a keyword like [make money with adwords] costs me $70 without a sale and the payout of my offer is $35, I'll nix that keyword. I find about 60-70% of the adspend in my first phase to be on keywords that don't convert. Now I'm not talking CPA like zip submit, but CPS with $35-$40 payouts. So when you start a new campaign be prepared to spend some change. Most people are not adequately prepared and they wind up quitting before they find the money keywords. Hope that helps a bit...
