Everytime I see these type of posts I keep thinking that at least once, someone will actually help people out by saying something like: "I just made $xxxx and here is how I did it" Nope. Yes everyone is happy for you, but posting screen shots of your earnings does not actually help anyone any more than driving down the street in a Maserati. Why don't you offer some concrete tips for the noobs. Something a little more than "work hard". "Work Hard" means nothing if you don't know what to do. I'm not picking on you, just saying if you are going to show off your earnings like a kid with a new bike, why not post something tangible to show that your methods actually work ?
I thought I could reply to this but seems I can't and still manage to be nice...... Why would anyone want to suddenly have as an estimate 100 new competitors???? Why? Why? Why? There is enough competition already and I doubt anyone doing $x,xxx.00 wants to see that reduced to $xx.00 That was nice wasn't it?????
No one is asking for your niche, keyword list, or even your web address, but I , as well as many others around here, are able to offer helpful tips when we have successes to try and help others the same way that we were helped. Something a little more than "See look at me, I made some money...keep at it and you can to." All that am saying is, are you posting up earnings to brag that you finally made some money, or do you have something to add to help others ? It would just be nice that if when people are showing off their checks to "motivate" noobs, that they can offer some sound advice beside the obligatory "Just keep at it". After all this is a webmasters HELP forum. Personally I think posting an earnings statement on a public forum is a little tasteless, and immature, but at least if you were offering some words of wisdom to go with it, then I could truly consider it motivational. If you are not offering anything, why post up a check ? Don't get me wrong, I am happy for you. I remember the first time I made some money online..it felt great, and I try to give back when I can with information that helped me, some of which I learned right here on this very forum. It just seems a little self serving is all I am saying. JMO Just noticed this thread was a year old, and that someone kicked up another one boasting Azoogle riches equally as old. Geez !
1. Find niche 2. Collect keywords 3. Make website 4. Use PPC advertising to bring traffic to your website 5. Use keyword tracking tool to see which keywords bring you profit 6. Delete non-converting keywords 7. Make money and enjoy free time p.s. It does not matter if the thread is 5 years old, it's the same concept.
I second your statement regarding jumping in and just doing it. The first thing is to out in the work and have faith and do not give up so easily. We live in a microware society and we all want results fast. Good Luck Again.
just came across this thread today, and I saw that your earnings screenshot was from last year in 2008 would it be possible to give us and updated one?
Thanks for showing your results. Although I have not made much in affiliate marketing, I strongly believe that It is the way to go for me. Thanks again for your post.
Wow I have to say I am glad that I found this thread. Yes, it was started about a year ago, but it is still very encouraging none the less. It makes me want to get back into PPC affiliate marketing more so than I am now. I definitely want to get back into full time again someday..... __________________ Favorite Quote: "Love your neighbors as you love yourself" garmin streetpilot c340
