I you plan to run this contest for 1 year long. I think not much have this patience to wait so long for the contest to end. Since you are willing to pay high amount of price, i suggest why don't you break the contest to 4 stages, 3 months each stage, break the price to be given on each stage, and then at last who have the most referrals will get the final price. Think about it.
I got your idea and you're basically right. But this is not about just signing up but also to be active. There're goodies coming up in intervals all the time and for everyone.

it may sound hard, but within a year it is possible. With active I mean members must be verifiable. They don't have to be on the site a lot if they don't want. I know it would be easy to buy or link members from other sites. This is not the purpose and our aim considering all the valued activities ahead. Also, premium membership normally costs $9.90 per year to use all the features unlimited, like advertisements, video live stream chats with private option, conferencing, buy and sell features.
