2nd Question on adsense

Discussion in 'Reporting & Stats' started by normanmiller, Jun 15, 2005.

Is there a way to determine how much an ad is worth. I have seen some people say that ebay pays little and they know the amt. I can look at ad free stats and get a general idea, but Is there a simple way to see how much each ad pays out when it is clicked. It would help me in determining which keywords are valuable on my site. Keep in mind, I am only interested in things that are legal and not against the TOS.

    Thanks again!

There is no way to know for sure what ad pays what. There are a million lists out there about how much each keyword pays, but there is debate on how accurate they are.

use adwords, take off around 60% from the bid prices.. will give you ballpark figures

maybe i misunderstood....i thought he was talking about the specific ad, not the keywords....he mentioned ebay ads, so i thought he was talking about advertisors.

you're right I think.. the only way you can tell the value of the clicks is by watching very carefully, each time your adsense goes up + setting up enough channels that you can watch individual clicks
