It depends on many things like:

    • traffic
    • code quality
    • caching
    • installed plugins
    • web-server
    • hardware
    • ... etc

With only 200UV a day it could probably handle at least 10 blogs with no problem, and well over that if the plugins are light enough!

currently my server is using about 600MB-800MB only.
i think i need to use lighttpd instead of apache to save RAM.
my dedicated server is currently split into 2 VPS. is that a good idea?

Very Good points mentioned by RoseHosting, completely agree with him,

How many WordPress domain you can install in 2 GB, its completely depends on the following points mentioned by RoseHosting:

    • traffic
    • code quality
    • caching
    • installed plugins
    • web-server
    • hardware
    • ... etc

In terms of memory, since Wordpress is written in PHP, you could add the "memory_get_peak_usage" function to the script and then visit your page:

    php.net/manual/en/function.memory-get-peak-usage.php

Really depends on how much traffic you're getting, if not much than I would say several.

10K unique visitors per day? If that's for 1 site, I'd say that's heavy enough that you might want to move the database to another server and make remote connections to it. An Atom processor with 2GB RAM is pretty much as powerful as a decent netbook.
