Hi! I have created few scripts. I want to sell them. The site is also ready. Wich payment system should I use? 2CO or Paypal. PayPal Because I'm from hungary I can't recieve payments. For $50 I can create a bank account in USA. 2CheckOut $49 for singup. + there are the commisions $1 + x% Thanks P.S. How much costs to create a bank account in Switzerland or Austria? (Is there an online service?)
Hmm, I've used both. Paypal is good because it's easy for both buyers and sellers, and you can set it up with sites quite well. 2checkout is also very easy, and they have some great customer service but they deleted my account because I was Online Gaming related. If I was you, I would accept both, but if money is the real problem then I would accept 2Checkout if you don't buy much on the net, or Paypal if you do (as Paypal is useful for buying stuff on the net too). Oh, you might want to check out Clickbank too, they accept both Credit Cards and Paypal for you, but have a $50 signup fee and REALLY high rates. (I sell something for $19.95, it charges users $23.50, and I only get $17.50 out of it). But I guess in your case it's a 2 in 1 option, allowing you to accept both Paypal and Credit Cards.
You're allowed to process credit cards through Paypal as well. 2CO may be a little more seemless if you're looking for transparency.
I think it's important to use both. We use both for our web directory as well as our free directory script. We were surprised how many people pay via 2Checkout.... it's worth the few bucks up front.
Go with 2CO, paypal closed my account and took $200 from me for no reason, I've called over 20 times and get the same thing to fax in stuff where I have faxed in everything about 5 times now, they're a fraud and I can't wait for google payments.
I think you need both in today's world. A lot of people aren't comfortable with signing up at Paypal as well as the vice versa for various reasons. I think you're limiting yourself if you just offer one or the other when you could offer both of them.
guys i have used ikobo. its rechargable debit card and it charges for giving payment and free for receiving payments. it transfers payment immediately. in india paypal takes minimum 20 to 24 days for delivering cheque. with ikobo one can withdraw money within 30 seconds. (money gets transfered to your card in 30 seconds. and after that you can go to any visa atm and get cash. its too fast.)
Good thing now that 2checkout has partnered up with Paypal now. When you checkout using the 2co module, you can also choose the Paypal option.
The easiest way to get one is from the Swiss Post: https://www.postfinance.ch/pf/content/en/seg/priv/prod/acc.html take care if some "service provider" offer you expensive services, in Switzerland you don't pay any for opening an account.
Use PayPal , Attach Your Credit Card To It ... And Job Done. You Can Withdraw your money, does no matter if you are from Hungary.
DareDevils, are you sure about this? Can he withdraw money to his credit card though he lives in a country not supported by Paypal withdrawals?
2CO is way better and safer, you will not get limited or anything like what paypal does and your clients can pay through credit cards or paypal, so you will not be losing potential clients who prefers to pay via paypal.
