today i received an email from a lady in USA. She claims that unauthorized charge of some $67.77 has been appearing in her statement charged by 2co and under my site name. The weird thing is 1. i never charged that amount. 2. i checked all my vendor records (2co and paypal) and no such payment information exist and there are no invoices. 3. i contacted 2co and they claim that no such order exist in their system and unable to locate it. how could be this possible and its frightening me? Last year i heard one other client saying that mystery charges around sixties in small amounts appearing in his statement and i asked him to reverse the charges to claim refund. Please help!
Somebody might use your site name and 2Co name to charge her card. As far as you have not charged her that is fine and you just need to inform her. The name that appears in statement can be easily setup so no wonder. The only thing is make sure that you have not accepted payment.
yes, i have not charged her and no such entry in the 2co system. so the payment havent come to me and if so i could have easily refunded. could this be done by 2co error in their system?
