Since I've had a lot of trouble with Paypal. I've signed up with 2co, there brilliant and you're able to accept Paypal and credit card payments. Does anyone else use it? Only problem is, the fees are quite high, nearly 7%!
Paypal is probably the most used, but 2co is a great alternative for people who don't like/can't use Paypal!
I've never used it and not sure what it is... a payment gateway? A payment processor like Paypal? ... but will tell you they are not for every one (considering their high transaction fees). However, I do business with a merchant that uses 2Checkout and it never stopped me from using them so if you don't have an issue with their fees I suppose they are worth a try. Good luck and all the best.
I love their fraud screening. Yes it is little spicy as fees but who is not ... If you do not like to deal with credit card fraud it is a good start.
Just got my account activated. I have never stopped loving it, even when I had not started using it. Have a very good fraud screening. Thus less sales risk.
I ran into 2CO when purchasing from seoflicks the other day; I've no idea what it is when first saw it, and it did stopped me for a minute. Whatever finally I clicked through and found it goes to the Paypal page, and everything went on smoothly. So I guess this is also a good tool to use, but for customers who don't know about it, it may seem a little unsafe.
2Checkout is extremely expensive, especially for US merchants. Many use them because they are don't have monthly fees.
We have had so many issues with Paypal, we now offer 2Checkout as an alternative and hope to switch to it completely within the next few months. The only downside is the fact that as a virtual goods business, we are subject to a 7.5% fee per transaction. With that said though, given the 2CO fraud checks we can sell with confidence, unlike Paypal. We would highly recommend it- especially as your buyers can still pay with Paypal through the 2Checkout platform. WebDev
Not sure what gave you that impression. We get weekly payments and have done since opening the account, there was no delay in our first withdrawal - they simply keep a small reserve. WebDev
