2checkout - Do you use it?

I am thinking about adding on 2CO onto my website as an additional payment option.

    Few questions though:

I use osCommerce shopping cart, so I won't be using the 2co one. I have about 5,000 items on my site, so I assume 2co with osCommerce will total up all items and process the payment on the checkout page. In other words, I don't want to add a 2co button on each item. Is this correct??

Also, at looking at 2co FAQs, it seems that payments are only credited to your bank account twice a month? Is this the case?

Do you like it, and do you feel the high processing fees are worth it?

It's good for buyers in terms of security. Fees are rather high for sellers but I use them because I've got no real alternative (no PayPal for me).

They are ok..but their system maybe quite complicated to some of the shoping cart system. I know for OSCommerce it's ok, but for X-Cart it has more configurations to make.

I've tried them once about 5-6 years back, my funds got freezed in there & they didn't return my funds to me.

2 Checkout is a very good reputable company, and very secure. :) I think that their fees are reasonable...I think they're lower than PayPal's IMO. :|

I am thinking about using it..have been for over a year now. Have heard nothing but great things about them. :)

    Hi,

They are reputable, at least we can easily fnd their site when looking for a payment processor. I can say they are the top 5 payment proocessors, after Paysystems's service is down-sized to US & Canada only.

Their fees are a bit higher than PayPal.

Becareful, they are very strict, once you accidentally against their regulations, your funds might be held for a very long time or maybe confiscated.

I use Loud Commerce actually. It is a merchant account and you usually have more control rather than using someone else's merchant account.

I've used 2checkout and they are pretty good, though I liked them a lot better a while back when you could fully customize the checkout page (and make it look like it was part of your site).

I use them together with Paypal. It seems that people like having the option of both, although more people pay me through 2checkout.

Actually their fees are almost double what PayPal charges. That being said we used them for about a year before moving to a standard merchant account.

They were always timely with their payments and we never had any problems with them. But nothing beats having new money every day :)

i think 2co and paypal is good option to use at same time, both are very good in services.

some time 2co support is slow, but it's a good option to add on OSC

we use it on 3dgamics.com and 3dgamics.com/store the service is good but a little slow on getting the money to you unless you make tons of sales.

2co is ok but costly if not in america
i bill about £1000 per month
i lose a chunk to 2co as their fees
then they charge us $25 for a wire transfer then we lose commission from our bank to change it into £££
I think i lose about £300 (approx $500) per month in charges

Why are you not changing them?
Is there other reasons not to change them?

Well, after all the feedback, I decided to forego 2CO and get a direct merchant account.

I don't particularly care for all the monthly fees involved, but I will also be able to use a Virtual Terminal for my phone/mail/fax orders, so it is probably worth it in the long run.

Too many people don't like to use Paypal, others ONLY want to use Paypal.

So this will give those that don't like the Paypal hassle a second option.
