RockYou Inc's database hacked by a group and a security company started to search about this hacking. As a result that company published a result report. This is the result. In 32 million password many people are using same and very easy passwords.

I've never understood why people use these obvious passwords. I password is supposed to be somewhat easy to remember, but not easy to guess. I guess a lot of folks haven't caught onto that yet lol.

 

One more obvious password is that which is same as your username. That's also a fail.

i use seperate passwords for diferant things (ie)
123456 = test
bQ752fSb753fLv = all my sites
1sdtjuj6 = all forums exc...
(not my exact passwords but generated in a smiler way)

I think security is obsessively important thats why i use passwordvault witch is also locked via.....
you guessed it a password!!!
My pc also has a password on bios and all accounts with yet another password just to activate the hard drive!

 

My brother say that i write some kinda story in my password lol so it's not at all and never related to my birthday, my lover/hubby name, my zodiac or anything that is so obvious to use

LOL..Those are pretty easy passwords.

 

i know just one thing why people are not using hard passwords. cuz it is hard to write!!!! They can remember but they cant write. They yes when i am writing i always make mistakes thus i use these easy passwords.

 

If you are a member of only a limit of websites then you can take so many passwords and can remember them but if you are a member of hundreds of websites then???????????

 

umm, no matter the passwords are easy but you must know where to use them and username as well

BTW, I am about 99.99% sure that my password is unique around the world
