Hello One of my huge forums, has 27 K pages indexed in google. When i first set up the coop on that site, and i clicked on validate site in my coop account, it showed 20,000 of weight. 3 days ago, my forum was down for 24 hours because i was fixing something in the secondary hard drive of the server.the next day, i clicked on validate in my coop account, and it only showed only 24 of weight !! Then i noticed something, when i type my URL in google.com , sometimes it shows the main page indexed ( domain.com ), and sometimes it doesnt..but still the 27 K pages are indexed in google and are showing when i click on " find web pages from the site ... " So whats going on ?? if i have those pages indexed in google, then why did my weight drop?? Im sure it has something to do with the main page dancing in and out of the index. What can be the solution ? Please help !
what do you mean supplemental? i guess you mean are they under the URL i set in my coop account.Yes the url i have set is domain.com/forum/ and all the pages that have the coop are under this directory...all my weight was ok until the server was down for 24 hrs And yes they are all properly indexed and cached..the site is 1.5 years old with 13 K of members, and tons and tons of backlinks
http://www.seo-contests.com/cgi-local/google.cgi?search=site:wassoufworld.com Compair Google.com with the datacenters. Four results will get you hardly any fat!!!! Then you're locked up in the Supplemental Result jail in the datacenters, so if those results ever hit Google.com, it might not help very much!! Then there's a PR 0 for the index page.
hey nintendo.. i mean how come it says : " 26,200 " . I had the same indexed pages..and i had 20 K of weight...i dont know what changed after the server was down for 24 hours ! please help me nintendo !
You don't have that on Goolge.com. Just the datacenters. Google.com API is where the weight comes from.
but nintendo , on http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2006-07,GGLG:en&q=site:wassoufworld.com it still says 26,200 ! So obviously the google API should see this..
Go to google.com and make the search! You get....4!!!! lr=& in the URL is what's giving you the higher numbers.
hmm i c... ur right..but still what does the number " 26, 200" supposed to mean then ??isnt that the number of indexed pages ? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2006-07,GGLG:en&q=site:wassoufworld.com On the top right : "Results 1 - 4 of about 26,200 from wassoufworld.com"
hmmm.i guess so lol...also i read about google's supplementary index... anyways i found a great solution..I am negociatiing on a deal to rent footer adspace on about 4 forums, with about 600 ,000 of indexeped pages ! 600 K of weight isnt bad, is it ?
