$26 Orchid Forum Banner Contest

This will be the start of several contests I have up my sleeve!
I need a Logo banner made for my orchid forum. The size should be 468x60 and 728x90 both having the same design. The background color needs to be White or a color which blends into the site. For the text you can put "Orchid Geeks" or "OrchidGeeks.com" An image of an orchid or cartoon of a geeky person would be great. Linderman: I like the style. However you are using one cartoon orchid image and one picture orchid image. you need to choose which way you want to go as it looks a little off. Can you make the text sparkle a little?

christer: Nice choice of pictures. The text font needs to be thicker or more substantial. I'm not sure if I like
the green circle in it..I know you were trying to make it blend in but can you try something else? So far I like this design the best.

Kingsmart: I like the way you are headed with this...but you need to incorporate an orchid or two and cut down
on the number of geeks in the picture. You second attempt with the pink text does not go with my forum

xtera: I like how you put the orchid ontop of the i. You need to use a different background color/image. Also the yellow orchid does not look that happy.

Jackuul: Your design is unique, however the text is confusing with the mirror image and also the close up of the orchid is hard to tell it is an orchid unless you really look hard at it. Try to use a different image.

Thanks for everyone re-submitting their work. I am discussing things over with my forum members and hope to decide on a winner within the next 24 hours.
