    Hi guys,

Well after sometime when I checked my google adsense account it is showing 26 impressions and 4 clicks for yesterday. Is this really high ? considerign that I had not got 4 clicks in whole one month :D

My overall CTR for october is 3.1% for my website and yesterday's CTR was 15%.
What CTR does google take into consideration i.e. my CTR for october is fine but if they starts seeing daily CTR than ofcourse they will think that there is something wrong. WHat CTR can be called safe ?

Oh By the way, One Great news...I have crosees USD $1 mark :D last month I had earned 0.23 and this month have earn 0.79 and it is still going great :p ..Thanks to amazing advices from DP I have tripled my earnings ;)

I am still trying to add lot's of content onto my sites.I don't get too much time.

    Regards

I would not really worry about it at that level. Just dont click your own ads. Good luck

4 clicks with 26 impressions says nothing. Its completely safe. This fact that is. If you have a CTR of 25% after a whole month, it will be odd. But 4 clicks in 26 impressions is not. Its not so strange.

Nothing to worry about if you did not induce those clicks or violate Google's TOS in any way. There's really no statistic for a 'safe CTR' although some might believe that high CTR will cause the Adsense team to come check on you.

The number clicked is going to be on the whim of your visitors. If they want to visit the site that is being advertised they will. All to often they just skip past these ads and that is why you are seing lower amounts at other times.

and well now it is 46 impressions and 4 clicks for the whole day(yesterday) so the CTR is now below 10% *sigh* :)

Nothing to worry about that, as long as that clicks was legit.
In fact I have blog with CTR > 20% (average CTR in months), and still running adsense till now.

Those stats have to be considered in a longer term, not on a daily basis, prob a month or a week at least.

Also, numbers are very low compared to the average, prob because you just started, so stats have to be considered with different parameters.

Lots of odd stats come up when numbers are low, that's a rule that applies to gambling and all situations also.

    In brief, I wouldn't worry.:)

PS: do follow the above advice and make sure the clicks are legitimate, other than that, well, work on the site and don't check earnings too often, sometimes it's almost like watching paint dry...:D

We analize the CTR statistics only in basis of at least 10K impressions because it shows almost no reasonable result for smaller ammounts.

So, I may suggest - forget about your stats. And the time you are spending for watching inside adsense, spend better for adding more content or choosing some better niche :)

You are violating the TOS by stating your CTR

    Many actually do.

I have never read about being banned for posting about earnings.

    That doesn't mean it's allowed, I was just wondering...

Anyway, yes it's paradoxical that poseidon is worried about the CTR and not that he is violating the TOS:)

I wouldn't worry. I have had one day CTR this month of 28.8% which is pretty freaky but that may have been due to a busy day posting in Usenet and forums as my site stats were also way up on that day. Usually my CTR is in the low to mid single figures.

*cough**cough* actually I need to do lot's of work on my site other than SEO. Earlier I was just having one blog where I had put the name of Free webhosting sites(which I always wanted to) than I heard about adsense and so made a 15+ page site and put adsense into it *sigh* but I don't get time to work on the site much. :D
Will surely improve it in november when my exams will be over.:)

P.S> Kooolll ..MY first two page thread...:p :D
