India celebrates 26-11 anniversary - a day that reminds one of the worst attacks, a day when many people lost their lives, a day of victory of good over evil and a day when we realized we were Indians first and Hindu/Muslim/Sikh afterwards.
So, what do you think has changed after the incident?

Do comment on my blog too :p

I think it is better to say "remembers" rather than "celebrates". This is not an occasion for celebration.

No problem, I actually heard a report on the radio that said the mood was festive which I was a little surprised by.

It is wise to remember those people lost during the attack, and to celebrate the victory by way of defeating those terrorists.

    RIP - To all innocents

Who are those terrorists? Who was defeated?

Which part of this massacre do you call a victory? It was a suicide mission. You sound like some other people I see who call total failures victories.

I don't understand why we even have to be reminded of such a horrible event.."remembering" this event isn't helping anyone..

Exactly, and the victory of defeating those that wish to do harm/did do harm to innocents/civilians deserves to be called just that a victory, no matter how small it was in the scope of things.

i can only say Nation should remembers martyrs Indian police officers Ashok Kamte, Hemant Karkare and Vijay Salaskar, who laid their lives while fighting the terrorists during 26/11 Mumbai Terror attacks last year, are being remembered on the first anniversary of the horrendous incidents that took place one year ago.

Their martyrdom made each eye wet. Everyone was traumatized. Each Indian mourned the loss of three brave officers. Undoubtedly, they were great. They fought an exemplary battle. They didn't care for their lives. They reached the spot where indiscriminate firing was on.

They encountered the terrorists who wanted to cause major loss of human lives. These officers interrupted them and the terrorists had to flee.

While fleeing the terrorists targeted these officers and opened fires. Even after suffering from bullet injuries, they continued their battle against the terrorists.

They sacrificed their lives for the nation. Each Indian is proud of them. They are our Heroes. Heroes never die. They remain in memories of every citizen. Their acts become source of inspiration. With great honour, we salute our heroes.
