$250 Website Design for Sewing Shop- 4 days Quick Paypal $$

G'day

I'm looking for a new site design for a sewing machine shop, they also sell patchwork quilting fabric.

Tried to pump them for ideas to get us started, but they have no concept except to say their colors are burgundy, yellow & green - so you could pretty much ditch that and have a free reign.

I have photos of the inside of the shop if that will help for some inspiration - just let me know and I'll make them available.

I'm looking for PSD only Home Page & Logo

The site will be WP and will be built using the ithemes builder system, so please keep that in mind while designing. If you can code it using that system - then I'm happy to add $100 for the coding, otherwise I'll get it done.

We also need a logo designed - the name is Canberra Sewing - Canberra being the suburb.

Prob best to start with a logo and we can take the design from there - might be easiest, but I'll be guided by you clever designers

So if you're feeling creative this just might be up your alley - go for it.

I reserve the right to not choose a design if they aren't up to par - and of course the client will have the final say out of the finalists.

Will leave this contest open for 4 days - that should give the weekend to get it finished, then I'll send the finalists to the client on Tuesday.

hi logosdino thanks for your entry - that was quick. It's really a long way off what I'd like to see. It's too pink, too dark, too blocky, too old and too plain - looks really like an old style, free template I could pick up in a couple of seconds with a Google search. Give it another try - I need it to be professional, more up to date, fresh and more about sewing machines and patchwork quilting fabrics and making quilts. Oh and "Canberra being the suburb" isn't the slogan.

Please excuse the large image size, it was necessary to show all the detail. There is no logo as yet, I just wanted to create the site first. If you like this I can then work on the logo.

hi Aderain - thanks for your entry. I think though, that its too dark - I'm really not fussed on the burgundy and yellow, it really doesnt have to follow those colours - client is looking for a complete makeover to bring him into this century lol. Try more professional looking, more web 2.0 maybe.

I found a site I like - but I certainly dont want it copied or modelled on it - it's just something we like... singerco [.] com - Again - it cant have any resemblance to that site, it's just an inspiration.

 

No worries. I should have an updated template setup and ready sometime tomorrow. Do you want all of the block menus and such like a wordpress blog, or something more website like?
