I have a client looking for 17 unique designs to be placed along side the acronyms attached on posters. The posters will be displayed at motivational conferences for teachers in Africa. The visual representations can be photos, graphics or anything that you feel goes with the acronym. There is not any particular theme that we have in mind so impress us with your creativity... Obviously all representations need to be unique. The way the contest will work is that you can pick any 5 of the acronyms post your representations and a winner will be chosen 5 days from now. The winner will then be responsible for creating the further 12 representations and making any changes the client wishes before receiving $250 for your work. * I reserve the right not to choose a winner if an appropriate design is not presented. Acronyms: http://docs.google.com/View?id=dcm7p5n3_131c4pqzqdb
4 of my visual representations. please wait for the last design. hope you like it, and please feedback and and and if you interest, i can presented my design all. and i give you full PSD format
Some questions about the contest: Do you want a common theme throughout the posters? What size are these posters going to be (A1, A2... etc) And some questions about the tech side: What resolution do you want us to desgn at (300-600dpi is the standard for print) Do you want a bleed included? If so what size? Are there any other specifications from the print shop you're using? Usually a print shop with have a .pdf or a website with all the specifics, it would be very helpful to see to set up the templates right! Better to do it right once, then wrong, and have to fix it 17 times! Thanks -Will
The posters should look as though they come from the same designer and are part of a set but they don't necessarily have to look entirely uniform. For instance daput73's entries use different colors and designs but to me they still look like they are part of a set. As for the technical side of things unfortunately the client has not yet supplied me those details but I would say that 300dpi will be fine at this stage. I am guessing but I believe the posters will be A3. If you just submit a few designs at this stage I can show them to the client and if the client decides to use a particular design then the winner will be notified of all technical requirements before beginning work.
Are you looking for JUST the logos to represent each of the 17? Or an entire poster design that includes everything, the logo, and what it stands for, like that other entrant did.
Just logos. If you would like to incorporate the acronyms as other entries have then that is fine too. But no you don't have to design the whole poster.
my last design hi sir.., what about my designs?do you like it. i can presented all of my designs.. thank you, waiting for feedback
Daput73 your designs are along the right lines in my opinion but of course it is the client's opinion that matters so I will have to wait to see what they think. Jmul7 I can't see your designs is there something wrong with the upload or is it my computer? Keep em coming guys!
