I have used paypal before to chose how fast and well the site can work. It does. Now let's get our hands dirty. This is a logo branding and label design contest. The winner will get $250 paid via paypal. All work must be done in vector format. I will own the files at the end of the contest. I also can end the contest either because a winner has been chosen or because the quality of the logo and the label has been deemed a copy, not professional or just lacking creativity. The winner I will come to first for any other work I may need (14 products to be done in the next 6 months) so this could be a working relationship. This is your chance to really get your work out there. This is a hot sauce and BBQ sauce company. The name is Burns & McCoy. We produce all natural, gluten free and mostly organic sauces. These sauces are handcrafted and small batched to ensure quality in every bottle. We want the logo and label to be retro but modern at the same time. We don't want to have the logo or label too busy. Simple and elegant is the key here. If you can incorporate the logo into the label that would be perfect and preferable. The first four sauce we have are as follows Mild-kiwi jalapeƱo Medium-blueberry ghost pepper Hot-mango habanero Extra hot-Trinidad scorpion and cherry Attached are a few labels that can present the vibe we are looking for. Not too many colors and looking forward to the submissions. Good luck!
Also people please don't look at my last contest and use that logo? Please come up with an original. Please please unless it is truly outstanding do not use script
John, not what I am looking for. That is too simple and not elegant at all. Just giving you some positive feedback. padurariu, I love where you are going with that. Could you maybe take out the crown. Simplify it a little? Make the crown a flame? definitely try it with a flame If you have another idea we can try that too? I do like your first logo though a lot.
Do you want a vintage or a modern look? I thought you wanted a vintage look... with old paper bag background, that's what i understood from the previous thread you opened... and I've been working on it for hours
I don't want to have a look of that vintage label It is very overused right now Look at the first submission. I love that look that is what I mean by simple and still makes a statement
brainstormingin I like where that is going I like the flame but almost think it should be more unique than that though
Lulian I am not feeling that. Just isn't clean enough for what we are looking for Needs to be more crisp and more like the second design submitted by Padurariu he has a knack for what I am thinking
Lulian Still not what I am looking for. Once again, please look at Padurariu's reply I got on this thread and that will give you an idea of how I am thinking for a logo.
I've used the existing idea for the logo, but I've executed it a bit differently. I had the overall label design in mind and how it would fit in a well designed bottle label.
This is my first design in 2 executions. One is more elegant and the other is the same idea, but bolder in colors. The sauces vary in their final color touch according to their flavor. The particular color is also altering the appearance of the logo, making it "affected" by the sauce. I've chosen an emblem style for this design, making the bottle recognizable from longer distance. Also, it provides the needed elegance and affirms the quality of the product inside the bottle. To avoid too much traditional look, the emblem has flat, live colors which complies with the modern trends.
MVG777 We do like what we see, especially how you put B&M in the flame. I need to send it to the others and see what they are thinking. My opinion on this is that I don't know if it is 100% what I am striving for a logo, but it is not 100% my decision.
